Andrew Holtz, M.P.H., is an independent journalist based in Portland, Ore. The former CNN medical correspondent is the author of three books comparing television medical dramas to real world medicine. Holtz helps review news reports and releases for HealthNewsReview.org. Holtz is a former president of AHCJ’s board of directors and served as interim executive director during 2004-05.
